Fall TV preview 2017: 10 streaming shows to look for (videos)

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The streaming revolution continues, as more and more digital platforms order up more and more series. To be sure, the fall will see new seasons for several acclaimed hits, from Amazon’s “Transparent” on Friday, Sept. 22, to Netflix’s “Stranger Things” on Friday, Oct. 27.

But there will be no shortage of new titles to sample and binge-watch during the next few months. Here are 10 of the most-anticipated offerings from the streaming world:

“American Vandal” (Friday, Sept. 15, Netflix): A satire of true-crime shows, this eight-episode comedy investigates the aftermath of a costly high school prank that left 27 faculty cars vandalized. Tyler Alvarez, Eduardo Franco and Gabriela Fresquez star.

“Star Trek: Discovery” (8:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 24, WOIO Channel 19, then CBS All Access): The first new “Star Trek” series since “Enterprise” premiered in 2001 gets a special launch on CBS network stations, then zooms over to the CBS
