The chilling TV interview that caught the crying killer of Joanne Nelson

It is one of the most notorious murders in recent history.

And a new documentary has revealed the moment detectives realised Hull man Paul Dyson was responsible for killing his girlfriend Joanne Nelson.

Dyson strangled Joanne on Valentine’s Day 2005 at their home in Hotham Road North, west Hull, and then buried her in an unmarked ditch in Malton, North Yorkshire.

Faking It: Tears of a Crime, which aired on Investigation Discovery on Friday night, looks at the clues which led detectives to the culprits in notorious murder cases.

Previous episodes have featured the vicious villains Tracie Andrews and Ian Huntley.
