As the second series of this thriller begins, Sweden is preparing for a visit by the US president (Kim Cattrall)and criminal profiler Inger Johanne Vik (Melinda Kinnaman) has just received the results of a hospital visit. The relationship between the two countries is strong, says a news anchor, unaware of Donald Trump’s preferance for Norway over Nordic noir.

As part of the BBC’s Royal Collection season, Charles I’s Treasures Reunited (BBC2, 9pm) brings together the king’s art, which Parliament sold off — one Rembrandt fetched a shilling — after his execution in 1649.
