Seven people are dead, but who’s behind the drone?

Watch a sneak peek of the case:

When the BAU is first called in for the case, all that is known is there has been a workplace shooting in the office compound of a video game company. The company is a high-profile tech target, so they can’t rule out a coordinated attack or a lone wolf. Eyewitness accounts indicate the suspect fled the building, but they don’t have a description, ID or anyone in custody.

Shemar Moore Returns to Criminal Minds in This "Mind-Blowing" Teaser

On Oct. 25, Shemar Moore heads back to Criminal Minds as Derek Morgan for what may be the show’s toughest case yet.

In a teaser released on Tuesday, Morgan reunites with his baby girl Garcia (Kirsten Vangsness), who looks just as thrilled as we are to see him. However, the good vibes will be short-lived as they once again take on the twisted serial killer Floyd Feylinn Ferrell for an emotionally-charged episode. “It’s the most mind-blowing case they’ve ever faced,” the teaser warns.

The episode, which is titled “Lucky Strikes,” sees Jamie Kennedy reprising his role as the cannibalistic criminal who first appeared in Season 3’s “Lucky.” It’s a case that will take a toll on Garcia ,who still carries the emotional scars from being shot the first time they went after Ferrell.

Moore previously returned in the Season 12 finale back in May to hand the BAU a major tip which lead

Criminal Minds Promo: Shemar Moore Returns During a ‘Mind-Blowing’ Case

As nice as it is to see Derek Morgan back on Criminal Minds, it certainly could be under better circumstances, as this promo for Shemar Moore’s upcoming encore suggests.

As recently announced, Moore will preface his debut as the star of CBS’ new S.W.A.T. series (premiering Thursday, Nov. 2 at 10/9c) with a visit to his former stomping grounds on Wednesday, Oct. 25.

In that episode, titled “Lucky Strikes,” Jamie Kennedy reprises his role as Floyd Feylinn Ferell, the cannibalistic serial killer he first played in Season 3’s “Lucky.” During the time of Ferell’s original reign of terror, Garcia was shot, “so she’s going to deal with a little reminder of that,” showrunner Erica Messer told TVLine, “and may or may not get

Releasing unrehabilitated criminal minds

Editor:

It can’t just be money that is behind the proposed plan to release more criminals into our communities that are already flooded with criminals whirling through the revolving doors of our crowded county jails. Releasing criminals based on their age, who have had little rehabilitation, who still have what researchers call a criminal mind, is insanity.

As a minister, I have been corresponding with an inmate in prison for murder for the past nine years. He asked for my help and has sincerely undertaken years of spiritual studies. He is a very intelligent man and has made amazing strides in his spiritual education that have

‘Mindhunter’ Slows Down the Serial-Killer Procedural

The serial-killer show is an odd genre of television to reinvent with a heavy gloss of sepia and auteurism: a prolific and successful subset of the criminal procedural, itself an even more prolific and successful mainstay of morbidly comforting entertainment. Just ask Netflix, which currently houses 12 full seasons of CBS’s Criminal Minds, eight of Dexter, and four of Law Order: SVU. On Friday, Netflix will attempt to tweak the formula with Mindhunter, which brings the imprimaturs of David Fincher, nonfiction source material, and serialized structure to bear on the tried-and-true appeal of FBI profilers tracking down killers with their psychological know-how. The original template ain’t broke, but series creator Joe Penhall still intends to fix it.

Mindhunter isn’t the first attempt to tweak the procedural, though recent efforts haven’t typically matched the commercial heights of the original. Hannibal successfully infused its chosen framework with homoeroticism, art-film flourishes,
