Fan favorite Derek Morgan (Shemar Moore) will return as a guest star on action series “Criminal Minds” season 13.

Morgan will be back for the season’s fifth episode titled “Lucky Strikes” to assist a Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) member who is very close to his heart. In the episode airing on Oct, 25, Penelope Garcia (Kirsten Vangsness), who Morgan fondly called “Baby Girl” in the series, will have to deal with a case that needs Morgan’s expertise. Of course, he would not be able to resist.

Morgan, who was a member of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s BAU from 2005 to 2016, was last seen during the season 12 finale. It was the first time he returned after a narrow escape from kidnappers, which pushed him to leave the bureau to keep

Shemar Moore Returns to Criminal Minds in This "Mind-Blowing" Teaser

On Oct. 25, Shemar Moore heads back to Criminal Minds as Derek Morgan for what may be the show’s toughest case yet.

In a teaser released on Tuesday, Morgan reunites with his baby girl Garcia (Kirsten Vangsness), who looks just as thrilled as we are to see him. However, the good vibes will be short-lived as they once again take on the twisted serial killer Floyd Feylinn Ferrell for an emotionally-charged episode. “It’s the most mind-blowing case they’ve ever faced,” the teaser warns.

The episode, which is titled “Lucky Strikes,” sees Jamie Kennedy reprising his role as the cannibalistic criminal who first appeared in Season 3’s “Lucky.” It’s a case that will take a toll on Garcia ,who still carries the emotional scars from being shot the first time they went after Ferrell.

Moore previously returned in the Season 12 finale back in May to hand the BAU a major tip which lead

Criminal Minds Promo: Shemar Moore Returns During a ‘Mind-Blowing’ Case

As nice as it is to see Derek Morgan back on Criminal Minds, it certainly could be under better circumstances, as this promo for Shemar Moore’s upcoming encore suggests.

As recently announced, Moore will preface his debut as the star of CBS’ new S.W.A.T. series (premiering Thursday, Nov. 2 at 10/9c) with a visit to his former stomping grounds on Wednesday, Oct. 25.

In that episode, titled “Lucky Strikes,” Jamie Kennedy reprises his role as Floyd Feylinn Ferell, the cannibalistic serial killer he first played in Season 3’s “Lucky.” During the time of Ferell’s original reign of terror, Garcia was shot, “so she’s going to deal with a little reminder of that,” showrunner Erica Messer told TVLine, “and may or may not get

Mindhunter S01 Review – A compelling look at the history of modern criminal profiling

Mindhunter is Netflix’s new series based on the history of criminal profiling in the FBI. If the name was familiar to you before the series, you’ve probably already guessed that it’s based on the work of former FBI profiler John Douglas.

In the series, Douglas is reimagined as Holden Ford (Jonathan Groff), a Quantico instructor who’s so earnest it makes my teeth hurt. A chance meeting with sociology postgrad student Debbie (Hannah Gross) piques his curiosity about what academia knows about criminology that the Bureau doesn’t. He attends some classes at UVA, but still doesn’t feel like he’s cracked the criminal mind. He’s then invited to shadow veteran agent Bill Tench (Holt McCallany), a character based on  former agent Robert Ressler. Tench travels around the country, teaching police departments the latest in FBI know-how. But as Ford is figuring
