The channel is abuzz now with sci-fi horror and crime. Series two of Stranger Things, with Winona Ryder, launches on Friday, and this atmospheric, creepy and graphic 1979-set FBI drama has Jonathan Groff and Holt McCallany as agents trying to get inside the minds of convicted serial killers in the early days of criminal profiling. Kind of X-Files but with a different sort of alien. “How do we get inside of crazy if we don’t know how crazy thinks?” asks one. “If you want truffles, you gotta get in the dirt with the pigs.”
